kept poker face, imagination void
but what of thoughts, that profuse
that verge limits of super-amused
A thousand insecurities, never said
kept guarded safely, back of head
he marched proudly, pranced ahead
pompous gait, killed prolonged wait
warrior's glory, was barely restored
blames flew over, he was censured
but what of righteousness, expedient
bordering saintliness, although transient
the irony was categorical, really stark
humanness got abhorred, battle-scarred
he chose to go beyond the call of duty,
got charged with, unexplainable immorality
we repose our trust in you, great warrior
ethics often blur in, quintessential tumult
your decision needed different, evaluation
should have been hailed, given absolution
